Sneaking In A Quick One

So I haven’t been blogging as much as I want to, or as much as I thought I would, whichever is greater. I totally underestimated how much time and effort really goes into managing a household and taking care of a family. By next Saturday I will officially hit the two-month mark of my being stay-at-home/work-at-home. Right now I can say there’s been less working and more staying at home, but that doesn’t mean that I just sit around and watch HBO all day. Honestly, cleaning our room, sorting the laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, tutoring, and caring for our son has been keeping me on my toes a lot! The good news is I’ve lost a little bit of weight since I started doing this.

So now that I’ve sort of gotten a hang of how things work day by day, both on school days and weekends, I think I should make an effort to squeeze some writing into my schedule. I really ought to keep blogging so I at least don’t get all rusty. Plus of course, I should start looking for more projects. As in actively looking. I used to do all these at night after the little guy goes to bed, but these past weeks I’m pooped by 6pm. So when 9pm rolls around all I want to do is curl up in bed with my Kindle and immerse myself in whatever book I’m currently reading. The good news is I’ve already been able to read eight books since I stopped working.

Ok, that’s about it for my Friday morning rant. The good news is that it’s finally Friday.

It’s such a happy thought knowing that there is always good news, as you can see at the end of each of my paragraphs. I hope this makes as much sense to you as it does to me.

Have a great weekend everyone!
